NIO Capital has joined the $200 million Series B funding round for robotics startup LimX Dynamics, building on its earlier investment in the embodied intelligence leader. The investment will support the acceleration of research, development, and global market expansion for the company's full-stack robotics technology.
The announcement follows the recent launch of two key innovations by LimX Dynamics: the multi-form, modular robot base TRON 2 and the embodied Agentic OS, LimX COSA. TRON 2 functions as a versatile hardware platform adaptable to diverse scenarios. The LimX COSA system is designed to integrate cognitive reasoning with real-time whole-body motion control, enabling autonomous operation in complex physical environments.
These developments represent significant strides in addressing core challenges for commercializing embodied intelligence, spanning hardware, foundational models, and agentic operating systems.
The investment underscores NIO Capital's focus on foundational technologies that enable the next generation of intelligent robots. LimX Dynamics is positioned to advance the validation and real-world application of general-purpose robotic solutions across global markets.
